This gives you the choice to use it as either a wireless or wired microphone. It is designed primarily for speech applications; perfect for announcing, making presentations or for other public speaking engagements. It offers a directional sound pickup that minimizes ambient noise away from the microphone. The transmitter is powered using 1 AA battery while the receiver accepts two AA batteries.
